Strength through Sorrow

Vires ex Luctus

Life’s lowest points aren’t failures—they’re revelations. Moments that strip away illusion and expose who we truly are, and what we’re capable of becoming.

In the struggle, we don’t fall apart—we sharpen.

We carry the weight, wear the scar, and keep moving.

Vires ex Luctus honors the beauty in damage, the strength in silence, and the quiet pride in survival.

From Tour Apparel to Luxury Brand

Taylor Swift Japan Tour 2018

Founded in 2018, Bishop & Bishop initially made its mark as a bespoke t-shirt brand for international music icons touring Japan. The brand gained recognition during the same year of Taylor Swift’s Japan tour, quickly expanding its reach by merchandising for legendary bands like AC/DC, Slipknot, and U2.

Under Erik Bishop’s direction, the brand evolved into a luxury label known for its bold graphics, innovative materials, and rebellious yet refined aesthetic. Each collection strikes the perfect balance between high-fashion craftsmanship and unapologetic individuality.
